Michelle started working with Connie Nicholas as her Licensed Assistant in 1997. At that time, her youngest son was 18 months old. Michelle handled all of the in-office work, answering the phones, following up on files, uploading the photos online, inputting and reviewing CMA paperwork, showing properties to buyers, handling offers that came in when Connie was unavailable, providing the follow-up on transaction files to a successful close, and managing the database.
In 2015, Michelle transitioned to a full-time broker in partnership with Connie. Michelle used the solid background of knowing intimately how the process works in working with buyers looking for that special home and sellers who are ready to no longer own this property. One of her buyers was that then 18-month old who bought a home in Tenino when he was 20.
Each skill that Michelle honed throughout the years has been put into practice as Connie transitioned into retirement and Michelle took the reins. Michelle has earned her Managing Broker's License, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, serves on the Thurston County Board of Realtors, and supervises other brokers at Windermere Real Estate/Olympia, reviewing the contracts and problem solving. In 2020, that son sold his house in Tenino and bought on the Westside of Olympia and, in 2022, joined her in the Real Estate business and provides collaboration and support for our clients.
